School Uniform
Please note, the school and college community has endorsed the wearing of school uniform. It is required that each student will be in full school uniform every day. Any jewellery must be safe, small and discreet.
A student who is not in uniform will be loaned a replacement garment during Period 1. The Discipline System, including placement on afternoon detention, will be used for students frequently out of uniform. Financial assistance is available on application.(Centrelink statement required)
Uniform 2010-Onwards
Students enrolling at Waratah Technology High after 2009 will be required to wear the new school uniform. This uniform is supplied by Alinta and will be available for purchase at the uniform shop located in the main office at the school.

Acceptable Uniform 2009
- Plain white collared shirt (long or short sleeved)
- Plain white skivvy for a winter option
- Navy shorts - not bike pants
- Straight navy skirt
- Plain navy pants
- Plain navy trackpants
- School tie (available at Office) ($10)
- Maroon jumper/jacket, sloppy joe
- The PE/Sport uniform will consist of black shorts and a sky/navy bizcool collared shirt with the Callaghan College Logo embroidered on front. Shirts are available from the PDHPE Faculty. ($25 to be paid at the Main Office)
Student Office Bearers will need to have available to them formal navy pants for representing the school at formal occasions.
The wearing of other apparel is not acceptable. Jeans are not allowed. We encourage the wearing of sunscreen, sun hats and sunglasses in the playground and at sporting activities. If a student chooses to wear a hat or cap it is to be a Callaghan College cap ($10 from the school office), a trucker cap ($8 from the school office) or a plain navy cap with no logos.
